This is my 3D printed Spider-Man: Brand New Day web-shooters and stand. I modeled the stand myself, but I got the web-shooter model
from here on Thingiverse. After I printed the web-shooters,
I sanded them down and painted them. I used a filler primer and then silver spray paint. They were originally a little too silver,
so I darkened them up with a black wash, making sure to allow the thinned-out black paint to pool a little in areas where dirt would
build up.
The magnetic cuff was printed out of black PETG and edited a bit to fit stronger magnets, as the ones originally used in the model were not
strong enough for my use case. I then glued the magnets in place with super glue. The black cuff gets slid into a black compression cuff
with the magnets facing down, and then the web-shooters are attached via said magnets.
The stand was then printed, primed, and painted. I finished the stand with a matte clear coat but then went back and added a high-gloss
clear coat to just the spider logo.
I made this for a friend, "Spurr" who is a massive Spider-Man fan.
