The Amp is a weapon used by Cole McGrath, the protagonist of the first two Infamous games on the PS3. The Amp was given to Cole by Zeke, Cole's close friend,
at the beginning of Infamous 2. While in gameplay, the Amp is used by Cole for melee attacks.
This is my first prop where I used a 3D printer for almost all of the parts. I'm really happy with the result.
The main body, hilt (the large bolt), and the Tesla coils on top were all modeled by me and 3D printed on my Ender 3 v3 SE
(That name doesn't roll off the tongue). The poles are made of 1" polycarbonate tubing I had left over from my first lightsaber build back in 2017.
I am quite proud of the rust effect I put on the prop. I applied a base layer of a dark reddish-brown and then followed that up with a light sponging of
a yellowish-brown, finally I added some gunmetal gray, also using a sponge to dap it on.
